60년대에 데뷔해서 솔로로 독립한 80년대에 가장 성공적인 헤비메탈 기타리스트로서의
활동을 보여준 Gary Moore이지만 "Still Got The Blues"를 향한 국내의 편애는 남다르죠.
70년대에 Thin Lizzy의 기타리스트였을 당시 그의 이름을 알리는 계기를 마련해 주었던
Still In Love With You가 있고, 90년대에 "Still Got The Blues"가 있다면 80년대를 대표
하는 그의 대표 발라드는 바로 이 곡입니다.
이 앨범에는 1983년 KAL기 격추 사건을 고발하는 Murder In The Sky도 실려 있습니다.
"Empty Rooms" 제목만 보고 사글세, 전세방 구하는 광고로 착각할 분은 없겠지만 발라드에는
역시 사랑을 다룬 가사가 어울리는군요. 사랑이 떠나가고 홀로 지켜야 하는 텅 빈 방. 사랑은
홀로 있을 때 배우는 거랍니다.
